For decades, France has been a pioneer in gastronomy, leading to heightened expectations for establishments. Monts & Terroirs Cheese Shop in Albertville, France, exemplifies this trend. In fact, some retail stores are developing concepts that position them more within the hospitality sector than traditional retail.

In collaboration with architect Adrien Pichol, Okholm Lighting has developed a special version of their SCAN pendant. The pendant combines beautifully polished brass and matte black lacquered surfaces, giving it an exclusive appearance. It is not merely part of the store's lighting but also an integral element of the decoration and design of this exciting gourmet cheese shop.

Thirty-six of these exquisite pendants are suspended in the store in Albertville, near the border between France and Switzerland.
