The headquarters, also known as Neues Stadthaus, was designed by the architecture firm RKW Architektur, based in Düsseldorf. The lighting design was developed by a dedicated team, with a focus on energy efficiency and user experience.

Advanced LED solutions were implemented, with luminaires featuring dynamic lighting, developed and produced by Okholm Lighting. The design consists of luminaires in quarter- and half-circle configurations, arranged in the open ceiling space in a pattern radiating outward in concentric circles. These are complemented by linear luminaires. The luminaires are made of brushed aluminum and all provide downward-directed lighting.
