DYBKÆR CHURCH, GØDVAD, DENMARK
The church interior is grand, bright, and sacred in expression. The treatment of daylight is a significant element of the room’s architecture, with the passage of time throughout the day and year reflected in the space as changes that provide worshippers with a varied and differentiated experience. The interior of the church is furnished with light wood, an altar made of granite, and a baptismal font in bronze created by Jette Vohlert.
The architect and lead consultant for the project was Regnbuen Arkitekter m.a.a., Aarhus.
Custom-designed wall lamps have been created for the church interior, tailored to complement the character of the space.
