BRATISLAVA SKY PARK

BRATISLAVA SKY PARK, BRATISLAVA, SLOVAKIA

As part of the visionary SKY PARK project in the heart of Bratislava, Vietzke & Borstemann Architekten Studio has completed the first phase of this impressive architectural endeavor. The project encompasses a 31,000 m² office building, an expansive 35,000 m² park, and a 7,000 m² retail area, while the second phase, designed by Zaha Hadid Architects, is currently underway.

In collaboration with ULRIKE BRANDI LICHT in Hamburg, Vietzke & Borstemann have created a sculptural lighting installation in the lobby that poetically mimics the clouds of the sky. Okholm Lighting has brought this vision to life, where large, lightweight acrylic elements hang from the ceiling like floating clouds in a random formation. This monumental light sculpture adds a unique atmosphere to the space and emphasizes the surrounding architecture's organic and harmonious design language. The light sculpture stands as an artistic interpretation of the sky, where light and form merge seamlessly, inviting visitors to experience the space in an entirely new way.
