Restoration of the protected wood building starting with changing the roof in 1990 and continued by changing the wooden floors, adding public toilets in the ground floor and a meeting room in the unused top floor.
The latest project is the recreation of the building's sculptural qualities which were torn down in 1953 and adding a café, bookstore and new showroom.
As a special detail, lighting designer Marianne Tuxen, cut out five round light boxes in the ceiling. Their special design creates a feeling that the light from the top floors also goes to the bottom floor.
