RIBE LUMINAIRE OUTDOOR, RIBE ARTMUSEUM

RIBE LUMINAIRE OUTDOOR, RIBE ARTMUSEUM, RIBE, DENMARK

Ribe Kunstmuseum underwent a comprehensive renovation, supported by the A.P. Møller Foundation with a grant of 45 million DKK. The renovation was managed by Jørgen Overbys Tegnestue A/S and took place over a period of two years. Externally, the roof was replaced with new black slate, the historic windows were restored, and the building’s facade was treated with red limewash.

Jørgen Overbys Tegnestue A/S designed a luminaire that stylistically complements the building’s architectural character. The luminaires are positioned on either side of the entrance and are crafted from copper and black-lacquered steel.
